Where will commercial cynicism end

After Diana’s funeral, I thought mawkish sentimentalism and cloying home spun sympathy had reached it zenith, but now I’ve seen it all.  It is a record by a band called The Soldiers called Coming Home for Christmas.  I have no problem with soldiers fighting, that is what they choose to do. But where do venal record producers get off.  Blind Girls sing for Christmas, Puppies for Easter. Wheelchair barbershop quartets celebrate the Tsunami. I am speechless
